It is almost upon us. The new BMW 2 Series Coupe is almost ready to make its world debut. The compact sports car’s latest generation will be unveiled early this summer. The German manufacturer has leaked two images of the range’s most performance-oriented model, denoted by the M Performance seal.

No date has been set, but the new BMW 2 Series Coupe is expected to debut early this summer, giving it slightly more than a month to fully reveal itself. One indication that this debut is imminent is the appearance of one of the range’s sportiest variants, the M240i, camouflaged and, even with the door open, in a clearly more promotional pose.
