All clear after bomb threat forces evacuation of CNN offices

Authorities have given the allclear after having a phoned in bomb threat forced the evacuation of the workplaces of CNN at New York in June.

Police said a man with a southern accent named CNN only following 10 p.m. Thursday and said that five bombs had been placed across the facility within the Time Warner building at Columbus Circle. The building was evacuated following a suspicious package featuring a primitive pipe bomb has been brought into this corporation.

Outside the building, Don Lemon and also CNN’s Brian Stelter continued to broadcast. Lemon stated fire alerts rang and a loud speaker told them that they had to evacuate during his live show. Authorities said that the construction was evacuated and building security did a preliminary hunt. The building was swept by police units with the NYPD bomb squad.
